Water
The waters are a bit more shallow on Alpha Prime-never more than a mile deep. Yet, oceans cover most of the planet. The lighter gravity allows for larger waves and the planet's two moons create strange and unpredictable (as yet) tidal patterns and currents. The planet is dotted with thousands of small islands, yet these are often scoured clean by severe storms and tsunami; as are various shorelines.
