We have all seen science fiction films and television series like Star Wars and Star Trek. In these futuristic dramas, travel between the stars is a routine occurance. Not only is the galaxy filled with Earth-like worlds, they all seem to be within a day's travel of one another and each one harbors some form of exotic, humanoid life. As you will soon discover, with any 'real' forms of propuslsion, reaching even the nearest star will take dozens if not hundreds or thousands of years. But... Imagine we found a planet orbiting the nearest star similar enough to Earth to be worth the trip. What we could find a way to make the trip in a shorter time. Who would go? What would they take? What would they discover? This is the adventure of Alpha Prime!
