Forests
A thick carapace of vegetation swaddles very specific sections of many of the continents on Alpha Prime. As opposed to the diversity of plants on Earth, it appears that a very limited variety of symbiotic, or interconnected, plants have found safe harbor in areas of moderate climate. The Alpha One botanists are extremely excited to examine life forms that may be interconnected at the root level at may actually exist as single organisms that span hundreds of square kilometers.
