Avalon
A grassland and prairie-covered continent in the upper latitudes. While this area is relatively flat in the central plains, hills and mountains dot its outer rim. This has the effect of creating strange weather patterns and high winds. Huge tornadoes and vortexes make this area an unpredictable one during long portions of the year. Animal life has not been found here yet aside from some bird-like creatures seen by the probe's cameras.
