21. Landing
This lesson describes the various scenarios that the initial scouting party could encounter on their way down to the planet, and takes students through three possibilities for dealing with an unexpected emergency during entry.

22. New Ground/Milestones of Exploration
The crew has landed, and this fictional milestone is added to an impressive array of pioneering events. This lesson describes what it is like for the crew of the mission, and goes on to describe several real-life milestones in exploration to give students a look at some pioneers they may not otherwise have heard about.

23. What to Do? Choices After Landing
This lesson details some of the decisions that the landing party must make. It will take students through several possibilities such as stay on the planet, go back to ship, and so on.

24. Preliminary Report
This lesson takes the form of a fictional report about the conditions on Alpha Prime. Students are introduced to some difficulties about life on Alpha Prime, and taken through the decision process all the way through the establishment of a base camp at the landing site.

25. Difficulties on Alpha Prime
Some of the difficulties introduced in Preliminary Report come back in a big way. This lesson deals with the more extreme difficulties about life on Alpha Prime. Some are less obvious then others.

26. Life Forms On Alpha Prime
This lesson takes students through the kind of life forms on Alpha Prime, and how they are specifically adapted to their environment. The lesson primarily addresses microbial life to tube worms, although the possibility of animal life is addressed.

27. Surveying Alpha Prime
This lesson walks students through the process the astronauts will to through to explore the planet. This will address each team as the astronauts split up to explore the various spheres of Alpha Prime: the atmosphere, the lithosphere, the hydrosphere, and the biosphere.

28. Settling In On Alpha Prime
Now, the students are introduced to the idea of settling Alpha Prime permanently. The crew begins to have relationships, and form small settlements in which to raise families. The students are introduced to the Alphans, the offspring of the initial Alpha One crew.

29. Mysteries Surrounding Alpha Prime
This lesson deals with the mysteries on Alpha Prime. Here students are introduced to the not immediately explainable elements of the Alpha Prime environment.

30. Final Report/What Next?
The final lesson looks forward the future of the Alpha Prime universe. Students are introduced to future plans for Alpha Centauri, and the idea of continuing colonization of Alpha Prime.
